Lady Evony

Evony Vonieck's days are numbered. She has been sentenced to death for murdering her father and fiancé. She's saved when a guardian arranges for her release, sending her to the Duke's castle.

What she expects is the job of a housemaid, or worse, being chained in an underground dungeon, and starving to death. But Grand Duke Schneider's behavior towards her isn't cruel.

What is the meaning of his generosity? And will Evony be able to adapt to her new life?
