We Hate the Male Lead

Baron Pelles is a pitiful, penniless noble, and it appears that his only daughter, Luna, is a wretched villainess who tarnishes their already poor reputation. Luna obsesses over her childhood friend, Fersen Rodrien, and all the other noble ladies sympathize with his tender-hearted fiancée, Seira Granada, to the point of bullying and physically harming Luna and her servants.

When Luna regains memories of a novel from her past life, she realizes death is near—and Fersen is to blame. Fersen is charming only on the surface; in reality, he is delusional and suffocatingly obsessive, and Luna truly loathes him. Out of frustration, she swears that even the empire's infamous cold-hearted psychopath and Fersen's enemy, Antes Vincent, would be a better match for her. Though determined to pull her family out of poverty and sever ties with the main leads, Luna soon regrets her words—because Antes might just take them seriously.
