Rental Doryoku

"Effort is pointless!" Ayumu Kimizuka is one of those who has nothing. Born and raised in a family that is poor, he is average in appearance, academics, and has no talents. At school, he suffers from unreasonable bullying by the rich kids and is looked at with a sense of pity by the girl he admires. Appearance, wealth, talent—life is determined by what you are born with. No matter how hard you try, you can never beat those born with it... Just as Ayumu is lost in despair, an otherworldly demon suddenly appears before him. "If you wish, I can guarantee the results of your efforts," says the demon, introducing himself as Dashoku. What he offers is an app called "Rental Effort"—an app that allows Ayumu to borrow the results of effort and instantly gain abilities in advance. Whether it's academics, sports, or even fighting skills, Rental Effort grants Ayumu everything in an instant, embodying the very essence of devilish temptation. With the power of Rental Effort in his hands, the curtain rises on Ayumu's story of a dramatic comeback and rise to success!
