Don't Be Too Nice

The Great Barrier split the primeval continent; it spewed vicious magic beasts out into the human territory and swallowed countless people into its unknown abyss. A hero soon rose: Carlos Arthur Ingram became the savior of humanity and soon established the Caleta Empire, declaring war on the magic beasts and the Great Barrier itself. Centuries later, Dame Rustica Genas dares suggest venturing beyond the Great Barrier, and Carlos puts her under a curse for treason.

For four years, Rustica has lived quietly in the countryside, but that changes after a reckless one-night stand with an incredibly beautiful man, Hayden Constante Rostana Bellor. Moreover, he bears unsettling news: the Great Barrier has been breached. While Hayden disappears before Rustica can learn about his true identity, Carlos suddenly requests that she return for a mission that may unravel both the mystery that is Hayden and what truly exists beyond the Great Barrier.
